Côte Chalonnaise wineries
South of Chagny the hills of the Côte Chalonnaise carry five village appellations: Bouzeron, the only one devoted to Aligoté, Rully, Mercurey, Givry and Montagny. The vineyards are more scattered than on the Côte d’Or, mixed with woods and pastures, and Rully is a centre of Crémant de Bourgogne. To the west the Couchois grows red Bourgogne Côtes du Couchois.
