Blaye-Bourg wineries
Blaye and Bourg lie on the hillsides of the right bank, facing the Médoc across the Gironde estuary. Côtes de Bourg, Blaye and Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux make mostly red wines – rounded, easy to drink and good value – and a new generation of winegrowers has made the area one of the livelier corners of Bordeaux.
